At the heart of our work lies a commitment to the circular economy—a system where waste becomes opportunity, and every choice adds value to people and the planet. From production to packaging to community initiatives, our practices reflect this philosophy in every detail.
Production: Crafted from Nature, Designed with Care
We believe that nature provides abundantly, and our role is to honor those resources responsibly.
-
Materials with a story: We use wool from sheep, alpaca fur, and bull horns only from naturally deceased animals. Scrap textiles and donated clothes are passed on to artisans for curating unique artworks, while the remaining clothing is donated within their community—ensuring nothing goes to waste. Even shipping boxes are reused instead of being discarded, and naturally dried gourds are transformed into unique art pieces.
-
Sustainable operations: Our workshop, located far from the grid, is powered by solar panels, ensuring clean and renewable energy drives our work. Every product is co-created with artisans, blending natural materials with thoughtful design to create pieces that are both unique and meaningful.
Packaging: Eco-Friendly and Purposeful
We see packaging as more than protection—it’s part of the story.
-
Each product is packed with eco-friendly materials that highlight the artisan behind it while showcasing our membership with Chicago Fair-Trade, Fair-Trade Federation, and 1% for the Planet.
-
To reduce carbon footprint, our shipping boxes are rescued from waste streams, giving them a second life while preventing unnecessary production.
Marketing & Sales: Planting Seeds of Change
Our marketing and sales practices are guided by the same principles of circularity and giving back.
-
Living business cards: Our business cards are embedded with seeds, ready to grow into plants at the end of their life cycle, as part of our Carbon offset.
-
Giving back to the planet: 1% of our revenue supports 1% for the Planet, funding environmental initiatives worldwide like protecting the Amazon
-
Community-driven leadership: Our Co-Founder, Rosa Chang, participates in swim-for-a-cause events, raising funds for meaningful social and environmental projects.
-
Community support: In Peru, our members actively contribute by providing food, clothing, and virtual education to children, ensuring that our impact extends beyond products into real community empowerment.
The circular economy isn’t just a concept for us—it’s a way of life. Every choice, from the materials we use to the way we give back, is designed to reduce waste, uplift communities, and create products that carry both beauty and purpose.
When you choose our products, you’re not just buying—you’re joining a movement that values people, planet, and possibility.
