40000This llama mask in “Arpillera” technique has 7 R's of recycling: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repurpose, Rethink, Reconnect & Reinvest, because it is made with clothes that people donate to our artisan, Alcira (Blossom Inspirations is contributing to that donation, reconnecting with the community).
After receiving the donated recycled clothes, she delicately selected the ones that will work for the scene mask design and the rest of the donated clothes are distributed to Alcira’s community. Therefore, ZERO WASTE, everything is either recycled into her artwork or reused by the community.
This one of a kind mask is handmade in four layers with Pellon, Poplin, Liner, and filter for safety, to bring joy and bright patchwork scene from Peru.
Soft & comfortable on face and ears, mask has been produced in 7 hours by the hands of women artisans. Your purchase is helping to cover basic needs of these women and their kids during this pandemic.
Delicately machine washable (use laundry bag), dry flat, do not tumble dry. Not necessary, but you can iron on the back if you want.
