Cardinal Gourd Little Bird

This simple but elegant little bird made in gourd shows different techniques from a family of Peruvian artisans. This high style bird was painted in one color, drew borders, eyes, and feathers with a burning technique, carved in detail neck and back, and its beak was made by wood.

Every gourd is handmade based on ancestral Andean culture, carried from generation to generation. Perfect to add color to your Christmas tree

Ps. All our gourds are biodegradable, so when you consider that it’s time for its second life, please bury it in the ground (including the wood Shaquira), it will help as fertilizer and nutrients for the soil.
