Sobras Bracelet

Sobras literally means 'Leftovers' which is where the material comes from to make this gorgeous bracelet. Just like using a cookie cutter, the scraps are collected in the production of other jewelry pieces and cut down to a series of sticks that are double strung together.

Each of our jewelry pieces is handmade by a single family of Peruvian artisans.  Having known them for years, we’re happy to build a working relationship on the spirit of fair trade and friendship.   The price you pay assures a fair living wage for the artisans involved in production.

Our jewelry is eco-friendly.  How exactly?  Not only do we use recycled materials that have been otherwise discarded, we also track our carbon footprint of raw materials, production and transportation.  We look for ways to reduce our impact and invest in carbon credits to offset the rest.  Therefore, we’ve deemed each jewelry piece Carbon Zero.  Read more on our Social Responsibility.
