Recently, I had an interview with my alma mater, EGADE – TEC de Monterrey, where I was a graduate student getting my Master’s. It’s nice to be back with my teachers and colleagues after 8 years, but this time a part of the entrepreneur’s community that was inspired by this university. In the interview I explained the founding of Blossom Inspirations, and our goals of targeting economic, environmental and social issues in this global environment.
Great was my surprise when I arrived home this week and saw my Integratec Magazine by TEC de Monterrey, October-December 2011 edition and found at page 32, the article about Blossom Inspirations and its sustainability activities. Here the link: http://exatec.itesm.mx/integratec
In the article you have the opportunity to identify with the founders, read about Blossom Inspirations, its progress in training artisans, its concern about the planet and its CarbonFree certification. They write about our sustainable accessories in the market (hand embroidered belts, jewelry made from natural recycled cow horn, Nativity ornaments made by dried gourds, etc). It also talks about Blossom Inspirations recent entry into Liverpool, one of Mexico’s largest retailers along with plans for the future like Fair Trade certification, new markets entrance.
So, let me share this press release with all of you and don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and/or leave us comments. It helps us understand common interests and pursuits toward a fairer world, with more inclusion across cultures, caring for planet and reducing the poverty gap.
